MATERIALS RECOVERY PROCESS

Material Recovery Facilities are becoming increasingly important as they reduce the volumes of waste sent to landfill, reduce the need to extract raw materials and in turn reduce climate changing carbon emissions.

Raymond Brown Waste Solutions operates a state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility which can receive up to 75,000 tonnes of waste per annum.

This facility is strategically located at our A303 Enviropark, just off the A303 at Barton Stacey, near Andover, and serves Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

We invest in the latest technology and equipment to maximise your materials recovery and recycling rates. We pride ourselves on being able to find a source for your recovered materials and optimise the timing of sale to improve negotiation leverage and maximise commodity prices.

Materials Recovery Process:

Step 1 – Waste arrives on site at our A303 Enviropark.

Step 2 – The received waste is tipped into the loading area of our facility.

Step 3 – The waste is then fed onto a conveyor to a Kiverco KL 820 trommel with a 40mm screen to remove any fines.

Step 4 – The remaining material passes through a Kiverco sorting station for manual separation.

Step 5 – The recovered segregated materials are then either processed further or baled ready to be transported for re-use.

Step 6 – The materials are then recycled into new products for re-use.
